The Australian Garden Show 2014

Children & parents join us at the Australian Garden Show at Centennial Park 4th, 5th, 6th & 7th September

The Mosaic Garden Circle - all 4 days:
School children are invited to create a spiral of mini vegetable gardens, planting and creating a Mosaic Rainbow Serpent to join them together. Join us and watch the spiral grow. Mini gardens available for purchase on the 4th day of the show.

Friday 5th Sept: 12:00 - 12:25pm - Signature foods - How different fruits and vegetables impact your body. Demonstrating the different foods and relating them to different body parts.

Sunday 6th Sept: 12:00 - 12:25pm - Helping young children to learn to love gardens
Fun creative activities using nature’s gifts, clay, seeds and more. Adults and children to share the experience.

Nature gives children a good start for a healthy life and a strong foundation for learning. Judith will share some of the parent’s tips on nutrition, and creative ways to keep children healthy.

You will discover how the Garden Circle gives children a good start for a healthy life and a strong foundation for learning.

Judith will demonstrate how the Garden Circle is a very active hand’s on program for parents to work together with their children. The Garden Circle program is presented in a simple format for children to understand and parents to find informative. The program is structured using the core essentials that develop a healthy body and mind.

Judith will share some of the parent’s tips on nutrition, the importance of water and oxygen and ways to build children’s self esteem.

To keep little ones stimulated and interested, the Garden Circle includes games and lots of tactile digging and planting activities. You are invited to join in, have fun and do some creative activities used in the program.

Bring your children to take part in Circles of Learning’s great Natural Art Collage at the Holdsworth Community Centre. Commencing at 10am, the children will be making collages from nature. Children will go on a treasure hunt in the park and have fun gathering items they see in nature, then bringing them back to the area to add to the collage. At the end of the two hours, they will be able to view their contribution to the communal collages and see it hang on the wall of the Community Centre.

Workshops and talks on ADD/ADHD and related learning difficulties on topics including how to improve your child's learning abilities, overcoming allergies and maximising your ADHD child's potential.

Fay is dedicated to helping parents find solutions to their children's challenges in the areas of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), ADD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, eczema, allergies and food intolerances. Fay has a background in Health Sciences with: BSc (Anatomy Major) from the University of NSW, Post Graduate Diploma in Chiropractic from the Sydney College of Chiropractic, Diploma in Osteopathy from the Sydney College of Chiropractic, MSc (Honours) from Macquarie University
