Welcome to the Alphabet of Destiny
Alphabet of Destiny recognises that reading is not just an intellectual pursuit - it is important that a child feels emotionally it is fun to learn. When connected to their senses, children quickly recall and associate with the alphabet, increasing awareness of their senses, their literacy and enthusiasm for learning.
Using the creative symbols taught in the Power of the Vowels, along with colours and senses, your child activates both hemispheres of their brain to experience sensory and literacy learning.
The combined use of colour and letters is important for predominantly visual children, allowing them to quickly recall a vowel through a symbol, colour or sense.
An awareness of enjoyment and play in learning to read
Through the creation and playing of the games contained in the ten lessons, children are engaged by their senses, adding meaning and colour to increase their understanding of letters.
Children who have learnt to read in this way, and those who have experienced learning difficulties (we prefer to call them learning challenges) quickly discover that learning is fun.
When their learning is implemented in school, children often find they are ahead of their peers who learn through the traditional left-brained academia methods currently taught in schools.
