Klever Kid program

Klever Kid program Health & Play Program for Kindy - Year 2

Created by Circles of Learning the Klever Kid program Health and Play program was designed to manage behavioural problems and learning difficulties, providing a solid foundation for children and their learning.

Our holistic, multi-sensory program enhances the whole wellbeing of children, integrating modalities which appeal to the different types of learning: auditory, visual, and kinaesthetic and develop children’s senses and motor skills.

The program aims to:

Re-establish a balanced mind and body to improve health and academic achievement.
Reduce stress with play and build self esteem.
Develop understanding and care about the importance of nutrition for learning.
Encourage use of all of the senses.
  Focus on values and lifestyle.

Values covered are respect, caring, truth, responsibility, tolerance, choices, awareness, peace and gratitude.

A feature of the program is the practical education of health and nutrition through the creation of an organic fruit and vegetable garden, linking the growth and nurturing of plants to the growth and nurturing of themselves.

Play and fun produce dopamine in the brain which makes it possible to easily coordinate actions. Many children who struggle to learn, including those with ADD/ADHD, have difficulty producing this vital chemical. Other activities in the program include brain gym movements, story telling, breathing and relaxation, yoga, art, dealing with bullies, managing anger and more.

Children learn to help themselves by developing skills and techniques to:

  focus and concentrate
  manage their feelings and behaviour
  build self esteem
understand the importance of healthy eating
  improve their learning and behaviour
  achieve balance through nature

Klever Kid program is a hands-on program, run over 3 days for each week of a school term. Previously run in schools by our own trained facilitators the program is now repackaged so that schools, organisations and home schooling parents can be trained and facilitate independently.
